Junior's a Boy!

Yesterday, I had my 20 week ultrasound. Patrick was able to get permission from his supervisor to get off work long enough to come with me! Yay! That made it even better!

We most definitley have a boy on the way (the ultrasound was pretty obvious) :) After spending a lifetimes surrounded by girls and women, Patrick is so excited to finally have a little buddy to take to hockey games (because mommy won't go) and introduce to ESPN. The names we have been thinking of are Jordan and Jackson.

Everything is looking healthy and normal (which means I must be doing something right...) and in a few months we'll have a new little Clark to steal all the attention!

Concerning Payson, Copper Mines, and Fishies

If you couldn't already tell by the title, we've done some pretty exciting things the past month.

First, we went down to Payson for Memorial Day weekend. It was nice to spend some time out of the apartment and visit with family (and the kittens!).

Patrick did a fantabulous job painting the downstairs bedroom!

We also took a little trip to the Grotto.

It's been a year and we're still goin' strong! For our very first anniversery, we did nerdy stuff like go to Kennecot Copper Mine and to the Living Planet Aquarium. They were fun and they were cheap so it was great!

Some great views of the deepest open-pit mine on Earth! And it's only $5 bucks to see it! How cool is that?

An Earth Mover. These things were monstrous! When compared to a normal car, the car is only about as big as one of the tires.

Next on our list of educational but still cool stops was the Living Planet Auarium in Sandy. We gots to look at all da wittle fishies!!

In the tropical fishtank, we found Nemo and Dori! There was a little boy standing next to us who couldn't have been more than 2 years old. He kept pointing at this tiny fish and shouting "Nemo, Nemo, Nemo!" over and over again. It was the most adorable thing I've ever seen!

After our adventurous excursions for the day were over, we were pretty hungry. We went to Applebee's for dinner and it was delicious! Dessert, however, was the highlight of our meal. Inside that seemingly normal cake is a river of molten chocolate just waiting to ooze out and be devoured!
